    Important Holiday Concert Information

    Season Greetings! The FHS Choir program is so excited for their 2017 Holiday Choir Concert on Mon. Dec. 18th, 2017.  We will be featuring all four curricular choirs, our extra-curricular groups of New Dimension, Vox, and Vocé, and our district wide 5th grade Honor Choir of 93 students!  We will also have as special instrumental guests, the Rosewood Quartet, providing prelude music and playing throughout with our choirs.  It is sure to be a wonderful evening of music. There are two concerts that evening due to large crowds.  Our concerts are at 6pm and 8pm.  You do need a ticket for the concerts, but they are free.  As of now,…

    FHS Sends 8 to ACDA Honor Choir!

    A huge congratulations to our eight 2017-2018 9-10 ACDA of MN Honor Choir participants! These students will be spending the day with other 9th and 10th graders from around the state in Minneapolis in February for an amazing day of choral music. We are so proud of them and excited to hear the beautiful music they will make!     FHS Concert Choir performs with Jugenkonzert

    October 23, 2017 /

    FHS Concert Choir will be performing in a concert with the “Jugenkonzert” choir from Dortmund, Germany under the direction of Minnesota native and Luther College/University of MN graduate Kelley Sundin. The FHS Concert Choir, and ensembles from Eagan High School and Eastview High School, will each sing a portion of the concert with the “Jugenkonzert” choir. The event will be held on Friday, Oct. 27th at 7pm at Grace Lutheran Church of Apple Valley (7800 West County Rd. 42, Apple Valley, MN). The concert is free and open to the public. We hope to see you there!

    Fall Concert Thursday October 26th!

    FHS Choirs will be presenting their Fall Concert on Thurs. Oct. 26th at 7pm in the FHS Recital Hall.  The choir students have been making great strides this fall!  In our curricular choirs, we will be singing in a variety of languages as diverse as Italian to Portuguese.  Our newly named morning ensembles of Vox (Men’s ensemble) and Vocé (Women’s ensemble) will be featured in our program, as well as our chamber group, New Dimension. Also, concert goers will hear information from our Choir Booster Club- Friends of Farmington Choir (FFC) and will have the opportunity to purchase choir merchandise and our on-going fundraisers of Livia’s Seasoned Salt.
